Aussie scientists recognise role of Lactoferrin

The Laboratory of Immunology and Molecular Biomedical Research in Australia notes that amongst its antibacterial and antiviral roles, Lactoferrin has the capacity to induce apoptosis (programmed cancer cell death) and inhibit proliferation in cancer cells as well as restore white and red blood cell levels after chemotherapy.
